AMS’ clients usually come from referrals from clients
who have received services for over five years. Numerous systems
have been in production since the early 1990’s. Most of those
systems were written in a software language called Clipper and some in
FoxPro. Since the year 2000, many of the systems have been updated
to the Windows operating systems using Visual FoxPro as the tool of choice.
Although the company does a variety of tasks, including supporting non-AMS
developed software, technical writing, training and hardware software,
the majority of the work stems from software developed within the company.
Several major clients has accounted for the bulk of work, while several
smaller companies after initial development just require support and occasional
enhancements to their system.
